Mixing software

Post by Dog Pants »

Another music related question: anyone know of any decent mixing software (or plugin for Winamp)? I've been having a go at using DSS DJ but I just can't work out how to use the bloody thing. I'm a rank amateur when it comes to DJing but I figured if I was going to make a summer dance CD I might as well have a crack at mixing it too.

try ACID. I've been using for a long time and it works great.

they have a free version, ACID Xpress, but it only does 10-tracks. a more fully featured version isn't that expensive though.

Also, Audacity is a great WAV editor to pair up with ACID if you don't want to shell out lots of money for Sound Forge.
