just tried out the new patch. theres about 8 beta servers running this. I didn't come across any server playing 'infantry only' mode. No changes to artillary support etc... be interested to see if they will actually address the bugs, rather than bring out new bugs and features as in 1.3...
Cartillary - when you drop vehicle on artillary, it takes out the artillary
Karkland bug - when you can hide in the hotel and shoot out but no one can shoot in at you
C4 - you can jump and throw C4 again, i've always felt this was a legit method of tanking out tanks.
One shot kill on tanks - been a victim of this myself quite recently.
(never been addressed in any patches) Friendly showing up as enemy on radar - I've been kicked from servers for teamkilling because of that bug.
Not really a bug but I quite liked the vehicle drop feature, useful anti-sniper counter measure. also useful when you drop them in the paths of planes trying to take off on runways. (i play with such dirty tactics).
Any chance of including 'Mashtur City' map on the server?

i wasn't aware they did that.Sheriff Fatman wrote:We (5punk) don't have our own server as such. We (5punk=currently only Berk) have admin on Lanarchy.co.uk and that is a city maps+one guest map, (usually Kubra). It's where we try to set up our Beef nights.
That's enough brackets for now.
currently it's just karkand/sharqi.
They dont wanna put mashtuur on the cycle, apparently it was emptying the server.
i'll pester a bit more at some point.

Might be my somewhat addled brain. I thought they did a city cycle with one additional guest, I am probably getting confuzzled with FMJS then.
thought i'd post these links showing some of the glitches in 1.3 which might be of interest

not a bug, commander hack

So far i've seen cartillary/karkland exploits on ranked servers. I hope we don't see any of this on Lanarchy
