Not entiirely sure if we'll splash out on the GT model yet.
It's definitely one of those cars you either hate, or think is great (like Marmite, except Marmite's not a car, obviously)

That's quite ugly.

But at least it isn't a Fiat Multipla.

I quite like them, although possibly not in purple. And definitely not parked next to cool-marketing-graffiti. And also overpriced. But I like the hot rod styl-inge

nope, sorry, giving it alloys and painting it a funny colour does not make it a hot rod. It makes it bum-faaabulous.

If it had a big shiney chromed engine sticking out the bonnet, and great big exhaust pipes billowing flames out the back, and hugely fat rear wheels, whith icke front wheels...then you might get away with it :D

Yes, and a baby seat in the passeneger side

I thought most of you would hate it, but I'm not necessarily going to buy the GT one, as you're right, they're overpriced.

I may get a 54 plate limited edition one though, probably in red, and with lots of nice shiny chrome everywhere.

When it comes to buying a "family car" due to Mrs WEY being pregnant, this si the only thing we can agree on, and lets face it, it's better than a Mondeo Estate

I was thinking more of the large front grill and wheel arch styling

meh. (waves hand dismissively, a la dogbert)

It resembles a hotrod in the same way I resemble Brad Pit. We are vaguelly similar shapes, but inexplicably, the ladies prefer Brad.

If you want a family bus, I'd use that as an excuse to go for one of those people moving jobbers. I had a posh automagical one for a job with a film company a while back. It was all teh woo, though it did make me forget how to drive a normal car.
