I didn't use it for non standard stuff, just for adding games I'd only just installed.

It is actually easier now (now I know where to look) in the Not-installed section you can tell it where the game(s) it hasn't detected yet are.

Don't worry, even though I found this, I just installed Halo, and couldn't work out how to add it.
I then discovered it had done it automatically as you mentioned above :roll:

I've only had to add a game once. Xfire has always picked up my games right away.

I've had almost the opposite experience, mostly with very new releases and particularly with Steam releases which aren't detected until after they've decompressed the first time you run them.
