Possible lanarchy server access deal

Post by Dr. kitteny berk »

I've been talking to mcbain about possibly getting group access to their BEEF server for interested 5punkers.

If we can get enough people interested, we might be able to sort out some deal on cheapness so we can always get on (for less than if we paid seperately)

and it'll help them out with costs especially given there always seems to be some of us on there.

The way I'm thinking it would work, correct me if you had a different idea... You have maybe 2, 3 or 4 of whoever admins stuff and is always about, with rcon access through BF2CC. There is a list of people that contribute and when one can't get on because its full, the admin boots someone off to make space for you :)

Sound okay?

I voted as being interested, however, my availability will be reducing...

Looks like once I move house I may not have t'internet until late june, and sharing a room with the missus means no late-night beefing for me. Least not on TS anyways.

I bet all American's secretly think that, but you've moved out, got your independence and you can't move back in over here now. :)

The lack of "Werd to an American's Mother" option in the poll means all results are null and void.

Hi guys, I was wondering if this got anywhere, any final dicision?

I've just done a similar thing with a clan called TT (Tartan Terrorists) of whome I know a couple. I did them a bit of a bulk discount ;) (Only 5 or 6 of them mind you) so let me know if you wanna talk turkey. :)

I personally don't play enough to go for this, but I have refrained from voting so I don't sway the vote, as people who play lots may want to vote no, if that makes sense :?

Remember, if there's a bunch of you, we're only talking in the region of £1.50 per person, per month (If you can pay in one lump to avoid silly Paypal fees). Not much is it? :)
