E3 2006 stuff
Post here any interesting news, pictures, videos from E3. I'll start us off with Halo 3 Trailer and I guess some people will be interested in CoD3.
GameSpot has streaming video of the Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft presentations.
I didn't see the Sony one, but the Ninty one was quite good.
MS seems to have an Xfirey thing in mind with Fista - they're expanding the Xbox Live thing across to PCs and Mobiles.
They say you'll be able to play cross-platform too- someone on a 360 playing against someone on a PC.
There's a Crysis video in there too.

I've watched all three and in terms of impression they've had on me, it goes like this:
1. Nintendo
2. Sony
3. Microsoft
MS just seemed like a normal sales pitch. Nintendo really focused on gameplay, a good postion in my view, and Sony did okay, apparently "stealing" nintendo's ideas... But I don't care, still buying one! :D

BTW: This site is probably better for viewing the movies, a good streaming speed if your connection is up to it - http://www.e3insider.com/

The PS3's tiltyness is nothing like the Wii, really. It's more like Microsoft's Sidewinder Freestyle from many a year ago.
Also, the Wiimote -and every conroller since sliced bread- has vibration feedback. The PS3 doesn't- either because of space or that patent lawsuit they lost.
What they didn't mention was that if you go for the "cheap" option, you don't get WiFi, memory card support (SD, CF, MemoryStick) or HDMI output- the latter of which makes your purchase of an expensive HD BlueRay player a bit lacking.
I just haven't seen anything that makes me want one yet. Then again- I don't care much for MGS or GT.

if microsoft gets that working it will be a complete fad, all the console owners will bitch about how the pc users are 'Cheating noobs' because as we all know PC's equal FTW consoles equal the suck.Stoat wrote:GameSpot has streaming video of the Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft presentations.
