I like it because:

It's faster than IE,
Tabbed Browsing (all the good),
Fantastic plugins to make it even better,
It doesn't get clogged up with spyware as easily.

It's just generally nice to use.

Of course, these are just my thoughts. It's worth trying out for a week though, just to see.

What he ^ said.

Give it a go and see if you like it.

I think the bestest thing is the tabbed browsing, I get frustrated at work using many IE windows.

Also I have a great plug-in that controls winamp from the status bar, i find it very useful.

Am I the only person who finds tabbed browsing incredibly annoying? Prefer everything in seperate windows

But yes, get firefox, you know it makes sense.

another plus to tabbed browsing, besides the lack of windows all over the place, is memory.

If you have two web pages open in IE, you need two windows, which means two full sets of IE sitting in your memory.

Whereas with FF and tabbed browsing, youve got two websites, but only the one program.

Not much of a difference if youve only got two sites up, admittedly, but i regularly have upwards of 10 on the go.

Yeah, i've often got about 6 open, along wiht IM programs, so it gets pretty hetic.

I love the themes and the extentions, I have the weather in the corner, looking neat and tidy, unlike teh other ones I have used in IE.
