My ears are bleeding

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

My ears are bleeding

Post by Dog Pants »

from listening to feedback for over an hour. I'm getting it through teamspeak no matter what I try to do with my input/output settings in windows. By this point I've fucked with them (and with TS) so much I can't remember what the default options are and it's giving me the rage!

I've given up for the night, and it's ruined my COD night, the bastard.

Can someone please tell me what to do, in nice soothing pastel colours. Or at least tell me how to put it back to default, because it worked like that.

I want to cry and hurt things in equal measures :x  :x

Hmmm. I've tried that combination ('cos it seemed fairly logical), but that "What U Hear" thing's just reminded me that I used to have an Audigy that I took out last week. I'm now using onboard sound, and I wonder if that's causing problems.

it's likely an issue with onboard sound.

stick the audigy back in, even if just for microphone.

Fair enough. I only removed it because I've heard that Audigys can hit your processor hard when they're pressed.

not nearly as hard as onboard sound will

audigys all do processing onboard.

onboard sound uses the CPU. this is bad.
