IE7 anyone?

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

IE7 anyone?

Post by Wiggy »

Anyone tried this? I'm using it at the mo and it seems quite nice, apart from some issue with anti-aliasing on text. Any more opinions?

At the risk of sounding negative, no. I see no reason to use anything other than firefox but I'd be interested to hear opinions from people that have tried it.

'm waiting for it to be final before trying it. Microsoft beta software just doesn't agree with me.

I tried the IE7 preview a while back and it was both ugly and slow.
They seem to be making a bit deal of its new look... it just looks noisy to me. My attention should be on the page, not the browser.
It's still not great at Standards either, although it does come with an [if IE7] CSS selector.

Still, hopefully it should be faster and more secure.
I hear the new Opera is very good, so I shall give that a try.
