Fw4ppers Mission Report

Post by Strawberry Dragon »

Since our noble leader Dres was called away to his homeworld, to attend family matters on the Kaneerdan Estate, I was placed in charge of running this weeks operation. The plan was to mine the precious ore Jaspet, in order to help contribute to the construction of our Battlecruiser Fleet.

Officer Shadowdemon provided an excellent survey report of the asteroid fields of Hothomouth, allowing us to target the richest belts for ore. Later he provided security and recon for the mining crew. Assistant Director Akiakiau offered logistical support for the operation in the hauling ship Bertha. Initiate Lestok (now codenamed "M"), assisted with security and as our newest active member, was declared "Honourary Newb" for the evening. Mining assistance was also provided by the 5punker Wiggy, in his converted Amaarian Battleship, which undoubtably increased our yield significantly.

All in all, it was a very sucessful operation. Overall, we mined in excess of 70,000m3 of Jaspet, including large abouts of high purity ore, in about 2 hours. The base market value of this exceeds 5 million ISK, and will only rise with reprocessing and manufacturing This places us well on our way to adding a third Battlecruiser to the Fw4pper Fleet.

The only problem encountered was due to the military nature of the newer recruits, which meant that I was the only fw4pper able to mine on this occasion. Therefore it is recommended that the next operation conducted by the corporation be combat orientated to make best use of our members skills.

Well done, if youre planning on doing something combat orientated it might be a good idea for us to do a joint 5punkorp-fw4ppers op and take on a high level complex. Anyone up for it? maybe this weekend?

High level 'plex again? Can I decorate my pod like an easter egg, since everyone gets to see it everytime I go into a 4+ 'plex :)

Good work Fw4ppers. Mano had every intention of being there, but as you know my connection decided to mess about just as the op kicked off. I still believe a joint Fw4pper/5punk op is needed. We'd be able to suck enough ore to build your ships in a few hours that way.

Excellent work all!

Bravo on the mining, and also on the suggestion of a joint event!
Being that this is Easter weekend, I will be again taking matters of Kaneerdan estate into personal control, and not able to spend time on matters of Eve. If Assistant Director Akiakiau could coordinate with 5punker Friznit or Feafalas on a possible weekend mission, that would be superb. If not, could we work out a time for next week perhaps?

Again, kudos to all who attended!

Remembering the Snowball Launchers at Christmas, it might be worth ejecting into space on Sunday, just in case.
