Vet knife badge, yay!

Post by Gunslinger42 »

I wasn't really trying for the badge, I just wanted to do something stupid, and by stupid, I mean sprinting at people with my knife. I guess it helps when the people you run at are snipers who don't realise that switching to a pistol would make it a lot easier to kill me.

Woo - got my vet resupply badge and my vet medic badge today. In consecutive rounds too! Quite a good evening on the medals front as I got my second star too - thought it was silver, but a commander's double points may have knocked me to bronze. Whichever it was - Yay!

Yeah, I'm only about 45 mins off vet sniper too, plus 15 kills IAR of course. Its the "not pissing around when bored" bit that will probably do it for me tho. Ho hum! May go have another blast and snipe for the evening....

That!

Though remember, you can jump in an APC as a sniper and do it that way :)

w00t! 3 badges within the space of about an hour; basic pistol, vet medic combat and vet first aid. I blame St0rmraid3r for telling me about knife and pistol only servers :faint:

Those "pistol and knife" only servers are against the rules for having a ranked server, if I remember correctly, and not to say it'll happen will, but there's always the poteintial for some bad things to happen if cetain people decided to be pricks about it.

That! though it's quite unlikely the worst of the bad things will happen, they can't even manage to do it to most padders.

yeah, you could potentially have your stats wiped clean although I wouldn't worry about it too much.

For the record, everyone should read these:

I didn't realise it is against the rules but I'm not surprised, on top of the badges I also got 3-4 times the points I usually get. I wont be playing it much more because getting those badges was obviously less satisfying when it's so easy. It was good fun though and I think EA/DICE should make a proper game mode like it.

Speaking of game modes, why is the game type thing even there in the server browser? All the maps are conquest...
