FW4PPERS

Post by centerededgedesign »

Fw4ppers Recap.

The first FW4PPERS mining/ratting event began unofficially an hour ahead of schedule. Dres Kaneerdan was able to contact Ak and Sam of
the corporation early, and found that all ammunition placement and coordination had occured earlier than planned. Dres proceeded to take
his cruiser to a belt to clear it for mining. Encountering only minor resistance, the belt was cleared, and Ak and Sam warped into the belt
to provide security. Dres switched to mining mode at that point, and proceeded to mine Pure Jaspet. As it was becoming apparent that the rats
weren't respawning overly fast, the security horse left Dres to mine, and began roaming belts looking for rats. The goal of the evening was to
net 30 million isk for the corp. The first belt that Sam and Ak encountered resistance had a True Sansha, and the FW4PPERS security members
took a bit of a beating. At the same time, rats respawned in the belt being mined, forcing Dres to retreat to the Station as well. With all the
rats about, Dres switched back to cruiser, and went to assist the security horse, who by then was handling things quite well, despite
some early structure damage. After all loot was collected, a Low-grade Slave Gamma was discovered. It was decided to sell it for the corp, and
further ratting ensued. At this point Dres Kaneerdan's attention was pulled away from the corporate event due to reasons beyon his control for
nearly an hour. By the time he returned, Sam had been rendered unconscious by a paralyzing nerve agent, leaving AK and new recruit David alone to
rat. David had an early near-space decompression when a rat forcibly removed the ship keeping his pod safe. He managed escape and procured a replacement
vessel, returning at almost the same time as Dres. Seeing as our freshly mined ore was still sitting in space, Dres ran a quick haul mission to retrieve
before returning to ratting, this time in a frig instead of the cruiser. Ak was beginning to see some true benefit to a well-fitted frig, and was
quite the asset for ratting. David was quite able to provide support though, and his actions did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, the events that
took Dres away from the mission earlier were not completely resolved, and resulted in Dres retiring from the mission several hours earlier than intended.
Before retiring, Dres did refine the ore, and reprocessed several of the unnecessary pieces of loot from the hangar.

Kudos to all supporting FW4PPERS that attended. Sam, AK, David, and Dres. Estimated gain from the evening, (which is based on last known assets before
Dres' early retirement.... 200 million ISK) NOT BAD when you're goal is 30! Most of the gains were made in the loot category, rather than in mined
ore, but the minerals should provide AK with enough to keep us stocked with ammo for the hangars!

THANKS!

200mil in a night with a rather inexperienced corp? Damn right I'd say it was a success. True Sancha stuff too? What sec rating system were you in?

We were operating in Hoth. .4 security. We have an office there now, and I'm going to operate there as much as possible in the near future. I'll still be close to Khank for corp assistance and such, but the new guys are growing up mighty quick!

Hmmm.... Part of me says yes it was a success (that implant was a nice drop ^^) the other part says we should have ratted more. But that's just because my ship was acting soooooo nicely last night. Hehe. But all in all it was a great success! I can't wait for more corp outings. I'm now 95% yes to subscribing, 5% no. >.> So looks like Ak will be around for awhile. Now to get AkRadio up and running on 5punk Radio. Heh.

 :faint: Bloody hell that's good! That's enough to make fw4ppers indepedently financed from 5punkorp while we sort out our finances again which is awesome.

Just my opinion mind, but I still feel that you are not truly set for life at the POS until you have at least a bc for independent ratting down here. That said, if you just want to go PvP like mad in suicide frigs with the ISSN, then you can jump into 5punkorp any time!
