Thanks guys! I'm glad to hear my work is appreciated! I got yet another recruit the night before last, and he's coming along well. He's even learning to make Instas already! So whilst mining, I shall continue my quest to dig up the best new players I can find. It's been said many times that 5punk/Fw4ppers is a great environment within the vastness of Eve, and I want to thank all of our members for being such supportive and patient people. Thanks

Thanks again Everyone!
A 5punker has decided to join the fw4pper training movement, Duke Ted is signed up! I also have another recruit that should be signing up today, so the Fw4pper ranks are growing! I am wondering about something though, and kinda want the group's feedback on it.
Should Fw4ppers work toward building the new recruit's first Cruiser's? I haven't gotten anyone that is too interested in mining yet, but I do have a bunch that like to fly missions. I've also asked them to work on their social skills connections and negotiations to help us with standing at stations and such, so they'll get access to higher level missions where cruisers can be needed. If we can't build them ourselves, (which is a part of 5punkorp I wanted to be sure to expose them to early on) could we contract through 5punkorp to build them? Kinda an extension to the Ready-to-Rock effort.
Please let me know what you think!

Perchance, have you tred sending out corpmail asking if anyone would be willing to turn up to a mining op for a couple of hours a week to help keep the corp hanger stocked?
Even with frigate mining ships, cruisers are dead easy to mine, and 3-4 of you going at it for a couple of hours would get it done no probs. I know as a fact that with silver i can kick out the lows ends for a rupture in about 40 mins. makes for a much cheaper replacement.

Currently there are a dozen Fw4ppers, but we've lost a couple along the way due to the learning and commitment demands. But quite the healthy lot we've got going now! Some may be graduating to 5punkorp soon, and then they'll need access to the 0.0 hidden forum, but for the time being we're developing the roles that both corps are playing together.
Lots of benefits to having a non-alliance based portion to our efforts, which complements well with the benefits of having alliance membership.
Here's to a great future!

oh, do go on...Woo Elephant Yeah wrote:the best moderated game forum here on 5punk
And yes, whole thing is comming along nicely. Not sure what you've bribed em with Dres, but they're all so doctile and obedient (cept shadow, who wanted to go out and gank stuff earlier, till I pointed out the possible side effects of doing that, such as free war decs).
Praise indeed from the great man 5punkorp and our joint training corp goes from strength to strength, in no small part due to the efforts of...well, everyone really. That's what makes us such a good team, and 5punk such a great place to be. Thanks to Eve (and Hehulk) for showing me the way hereWoo Elephant Yeah wrote:How many Fw4ppers are there now?
Good work by the way, Eve has been a brilliant way of attracting people to 5punk, and is without a doubt the best moderated game forum here on 5punk
Edit: Right you 'orrible lot, enough of the sycophantic back patting babble, and get some damn hauling done

Hmm....
/me thinks this could be a good place to clean ALOT of chaff up about the starting of Fw4ppers and make a good "How to start in Fw4ppers" section, bearing in mind we might have 5punk site members looking to find out how to join, and New Fw4ppers that have joined looking for advice in getting started.
