cashy wrote:future suggestion: have a pre-set tourney night, with a set time. that way, if you dont turn up at that time its your own fault, as you shouldnt of entered if you knew you couldnt make it. would avoid all this shit, as its obvious you lot couldnt organise a bowl of fruit
Probably a good idea but has it's drawbacks, it wont be much fun if so many people don't make it and the whole tourny is won by default. If system works though we could just try again and see if that one works out better.

How does going 'on the game' help with CS:S? Unless you earn monies to buy more FPS? :)

:? To "practice" would imply that I was taking it too seriously, and it was just supposed to be a kickabout in the park.

Yes we got our arses kicked but it was still an enjoyable game, I lolled quite a bit during the game, it was pure and simply a good fun game regardless of the score.. that's what games are all about... having fun.

*/end of rant

Correctamundo. That why I'm here, I'd never play anything at all if actually being competent at it was an entry requirement.

The only time I ever play games like CSS or CoD2 is the scheduled games, they just don't seem as much fun with randoms.

But a handful of randoms on a 5cheduled game can be a catalyst for much hilarity. Especially if they're all "WTF dog pnats u fckng n00b" as we play capture the bath*.

*Sorry about the slight COD tangent in a CSS thread, but I figured it was valid to all our games.

I'm finding this a bit with Beef now. Its not quite as much fun unless its with 2 or 3 other 5punkers. The squads never seem to get organised, and people don't often play as an effective squad, let alone team, unless they all know each-other anyway. Nevertheless, having just got my PKM, I'm far from being bored of it yet!

And when we found the sink/urinal thing in Militia in CS:S last week it caused much amusement.

You guys make gaming fun

If it was a sink, why did have no taps? Eh? The pipe along the top was clearly one used to rinse the piss out of it and into the drain, as found in many urinals everywhere! I've never seen a sink designed for 2 or 3 people to use at once, and without taps. ;) :boogie:

i've never seen a multi-user urinal that high (that i can remember, at least)

i think it's for catching 5punk.
