Brutix BPC

Post by bomberesque »

Guys

I have been looking for a Brutix BPC, but M_corp is out of stock atm.

The escrow price for a single seems to be around 800K, which seems expensive :shock: . However, there are 2 x 15 run BPCs (ME-24) available for 5M each. This = 333K per run, which seems much more reasonable. Not sure whether the ME rating is good or not. Thing is, I *really* don't need 15 brutixs (hopefully! :roll: ) so was wondering if the other Gallente pilots (Dres, Lee) or the corp would be interested in a slice of the :pie: .

Cheers

5M? Buy it! I'll reimburse you from the corp fund later if you're that short. Always useful to have spare BPC's and after all, we can always sell some ready built ships for a little profit.

I already have a 4 run brutix bpc which you can use if you want, although 15 runs for 5 mil is extremely good value, I paid about 3 mil for 5 runs.

I have the money, just not the need for 15 Brutixes (sp?) 1 should be enough to be getting on with

so long as the corp can use them, call it my donation for the week (and can someone build one for me please)

Great stuff. Can I just clarify the ship building requirments for now?

Bomber = Brutix
Lee = Thron?
Fab = Raven (kinda long term and doing the mins youself I think?)

Presumably in the not so distant future, Dres is gonna need a bc too. Anyone else?

Normal unwritten rules apply - we'll do what we can as a corp then the remainder of the high ends is up to the individual. When we get close to the required mins I'll post the costs/requirements needed for you to complete.

As it stands we've got almost enough mins for one bc but we need to strip some rocks big time. And any junk you have lying around that can get repro'd will assist with the high ends I'm sure - as will the loot from the POS once I've sold off the good stuff. Once everyone is in a comfortable boat, I'd like to make one more push to build up a stock of mins for 5punkships - we won't need much cos their BOM is a piece of piss and can be topped off with the odd repro session thereafter.

I think I have all the mins fro my BC, hi and low ends. I'll get the BPC to the corp and you can let me know the exact figures.

I know the corp has a list of ships to build and is a little cash strapped so I'm happy to provide my own mins. Just looking for a favor of one of the producers to put it in the oven fro me.

Friz, how did you know I was thinking of a BC? Jedi Mind Trick or something?

Hopefully I've got enough loot piled up for the mins required. Just started thinking about it last night as I was refitting my replacement vexor. I'm really after a heavier fighting rig to fly cover on haul missions. I feel we need to extract blood from those that attack our money making assets, i.e. our haulers who risk their butts hauling fuel and returning with product.
We try and try to haul at 'good' times, even using scouts, and still we lost two haulers this morning. I think our combat assets should soon be such that we could clear a path for our haulers to make safe runs. Perhaps with combat assets as such, we could make a regular mining mission in W9 as well.

Back to the BC though, I'm finishing up some skills I need for tackling before I move into the skills for a BC, so it might be a week or two, by which time I should have the mins as well. (or plenty of cash at least)

The two problems as I can see it with fighting our way through the pipe are that there's always a bigger blob out there, and that it would take probably more corp members than we usually have online at once.

We could maybe have a couple of ships to take down those pesky lone inties, but more than that and I'd say we'd struggle.

Come to think of it, it might be nice to go out on a little inty hunting foray down the pipe occasionally.

That could be helpful in discouraging them from camping there. Even if we just do it to clear the way for freight runs, it would open up the route long enough to get through. Well worth the time.

Bomber - if you can persuade Lee to part with one of his Brutix runs, we've got enough mins to build one, apart from approx 740 nocx and 740 zyd (total to buy: ~3.5mill isk). I'll confirm the number just as soon as I see the ME of the BPC. And if we can get Fea to build it then that'll be even better - cos Mano ain't quite perfect yet.

The mining op on Thursday should generate enough mins for the other ships - if everyone turns up!
