Nice, I didn't realise that was a serious request.Grimmie wrote:Done! - http://www.5punk.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2266
I'd like to see review for older games that people may have missed. I've just done one for Morrowind which is a firm favourite of mine, and I imagine that many other peolple have games a few years old which not everyone will have heard of or played, so this could be a good general theme for reviews?

Mod edit: ^ erm, that post seems to be a bit knacked
non-mod edit: that's because it was a joke review and was deleted as such

I'm nearly finished on one I was working on today but please do if you're up for it, there's no reason why we can't have two or more, the more opinions the better.Nickface wrote:I'll take care of BF2
I'm putting off the Psychonauts one until I've completed the game or at least played more. Right now I have to find The Milkman, whoever that is

It's great idea, people often know a lot about new games, or perhaps just buy them anyway - but there's a whole catalogue of great games out there which are cheap, or even free. You've already encouraged me to put Morrowind back in the "games I'm playing" pile.Lateralus wrote:I'd like to see review for older games that people may have missed. Perhaps one month we could even have a "review a Spectrum game" or a "worst game Evar" theme, which while no-one's going to consider buying them might be a bit of fun and bring back some good/bad memories.
We are keen on getting as many views on the "big" current games too, of course - particularly HL2 and it's variants, BeeF and of course the CoD, as we're always pimping them in the "Hi, I'm new!" threads.

So you go right aheadspoodie wrote:I'm nearly finished on one I was working on today but please do if you're up for it, there's no reason why we can't have two or more, the more opinions the better.Nickface wrote:I'll take care of BF2
Naturally, people are reviewing all of the games that they like the most. However, along with my call for reviewing lesser-known games, it would also be interesting to see some reviews of games that people weren't so keen on. It would be good to have an in-depth review like the others too rather than just "OMG this is shite". However, the main drawback I can see here is that if I don't like a game, I won't keep playing it enough to be able to write a review on it, and I guess that this is the case for most people. But anyway, was just a thought.
