RA one?

I think you will find RA2 is the best C&C evar. I do seem to remember it being a godawful pain in the scrote to get working with xp though

If you do mean RA2, im willing to risk scrotal-pains to get it working again :D

Now you've got me pining for days of yore, Berk. *Does* anyone have RA2, other than me?

I have two copies. And two copies of Yuris revenge. Buying The first decade was really a waste of money.

I have my original RA discs kicking around somewhere. And I don't care what anyone says, I liked the first RA more than RA2.

Not only that, but I have it installed and patched. Just need to fix Direct X (because my computer is having it's monthly spaz) and I'll be more than happy to play a game or two.

Yay! The first Red Alert is in my top 10 games of all time. The ant missions were king.
I've lost my copy but have the expansion pack "Counterstrike" if anyone wants it.

Ant missions? Is that what it sounds like? With giant ants? Like It Came From The Desert?

I'll be up for a game if we can get it together, and see what's happening.

Yeah, they were hidden missions, can't remember how to unlock them.
The missions usually involved defending your base from giant ants (some of which breathe fire), rescueing civilians and dropping a nuke down the odd bug hole.

Ctrl-Shift and click on the right-hand speaker? Something like that. I only ever got to the second one, damn they were hard.
