Ive tried to get into Blacklist and bounced clean off it; despite some decent acting it somehow failed to make me give a shit about anyone in it.

Im cautiously interested. I hope it isnt another "23 episodes of them not being Cloak and Dagger, 1 episode at the end with them in costume kicking ass" as I think the origin story as first season thing is a bit played out at this point. Also, if Cloaks cloak is just a cloak and not some crazy, size shifting portal to a nether world I shall be miffed.

American Gods

5 episodes in, and bloody hell is it ponderous. Whoever was saying this would rival Game of Thrones is a raving lunatic. It's still watchable, but that's mostly because of the wonderful Ian McShane. The background music is fucking awful - I'm noticing how bad it is more and more, and I genuinely think the programme wouldn't be as bad with something else in its place.
