Take On Mars
Or Galaxy, Milky Way or Snickers.
Currently on sale on steam for 11 quid, a four pack is available for 35 quid if anyone is interested.
Basically it is a survival sim - on Mars. There are others missions available to moons etc and I've seen footage of space stations being constructed so I am assuming that will be available either now or at some point in the future (still in early access)
Multiplayer is available, kinda like a much better looking version of minecraft - in space.
Anyone interested? I'll be buying it anyway but I'm currently looking at the 4pack.

Go on then.
Re: Take On Mars
Done, accept my steam friend request so I can send it to you the easy way.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:Go on then.
Two more left if anyone wants them at the cheaper option?
Re: Take On Mars
Berk, Joose. Have either of you managed to work out how power works yet? I've been playing the Lunar scenario and can't seem to connect my power source to my dirt extractor - I've used a cable in to a connector box and then another cable out but I can't get it to plug into anything.
Also, I can't work out how to place buildings :S

I'll take a cheaper one if there's still any available.

Re: Take On Mars
I did the training, what was available at least. Finished the Space Program (story mode I guess) as it only lasts about 30 mins and is just the first day. What's the best thing to do next?
It seems pretty good so far though.

Re: Take On Mars
I've just been mugging around in the scenarios, trying to build stuff and mostly failing.
Re: Take On Mars
Quick review: I fell asleep. The only thing keeping you going for the first few hours is that you don't realise there's nothing else to do. It doesn't go beyond driving around very very slowly and taking pictures of bits of rock that all look the same. The 'survival buildy' tacked on is poor and has a terrible interface. Would not recommend.

I think it has potential, but then again I put a lot of time into minecraft trying to create things.friznit wrote:Quick review: I fell asleep.
