I Cant remember where i read it, but I believe they are supposed to be boming the temple to cause problems with tourism or something.

it might've been in that level info you used to get for CS levels (and on CZ i think)
more likely just bombing it to destroy hidden nuclear arms or something... just like ever other map.

I like the one level where you actually get to see what it is. Those two sculputres or whatever they are. Much more satasfying.

i agree! at least there is something there, not like the large amounts of chemical weapons securely stored inside wooden crates and such in most of the levels

On something like de_aztec I always thought that they just didn't like that particular large block or something.
