Trackmania Nations

Post by Jinxx »

This here game is very shiny, very fast, utterly insane and free.
If you can endure the gratuitous nVidia branding, it's a jolly good game that'll make your tummy fall out of your eyebrows.

I didn't know it was a free full game, that's nice!

Plus I reckon I've got a good chance of beating the whole world and taking that $40,000

*kicks off download*

Is this the game with the mentalist jumps that make your eyeballs pop out?
Trackmania sunrise or something similar sounding I think.

There are like.. 5 or 6 different versions of trackmania. All of them have jumps that make you go. "FNFUHDFHbdaf/hjdfh".. This one is set in a huge stadium with F1 cars, a track editor, customisable-paintable cars.. Just, absolutely lovelyness. I was in a great bout of user-made maps with 12 other people earlier, it was f'cking grand.

I didnt think Auto Asshat was that bad. Pretty much your generic MMO, nothing really new to see, but no worse than most of the competition.

Won't be getting it, mind.

Downloaded the game this morning and will be trying it this evening.

Speaking of driving games with cannons, can anyone remember a fairly old game where you were a taxi driver in a dark blade runner-esque city and could kit your car out with massive spikes and guns and rockets etc? The name is evading me and its most frustrating. Seem to remember a few fun hours spent playing it many moons ago.

Oh, god, yes I do remember that. Bloody entertaining, though it made my computer sweat blood at the time.

Cant remember what it was called though.

Carmargeddon? If it's not that, I still remember it for "I Was In The War!"
