Didn't know what to expect, but I really like the look of this.

Re: Movie Trailers
Interested to see what Robert Redford does and that looks darker than I expected. But I wished I'd stopped watching half way through the trailer.

Re: Movie Trailers
I really don't see why the people who making these trailers keep ruining what are obviously some of the larger set action pieces of the films.
I'm quite looking forward to the Marvel films that are coming up. Both Thor and this look like they're on track to surpass their first attempts.

Yeeeeeeeees. I am excite.
I wonder if they will use this as a way to patch up the various inconsistencies between the old X-Men films and the new ones.

The LEGO movie official trailer.

That doesn't look completely awful. Also, is it made using actual lego or is it CG because I honestly can't tell.

Re: Movie Trailers
Batman was mildly amusing but the rest of that didn't do anything for me.

Well, that doesn't look very believable.

That is clearly Odin there and not Morgan Freeman. Way to do your homework Aronofsky.

For just once I'd love to see a Mythological film actually follow the mythology. Get some Greek actors in, lets see Zeus boff a mortal chick and produce a proper demigod.

Re: Movie Trailers
None of these Greek films have rampant paedophilia in them either, what happened to historical accuracy?

Re: Movie Trailers
I think the biggest problem with that would be that a lot of mythology was utterly batshit. Doing it in a modern film accurate to the original stories would result in something closer to a comedy than anything else, at least in the eyes of a modern audience. For example, when boffing the womens Zeus took some weird forms. How would you represent in film him impregnating a lady whilst in the form of a "golden shower" without it looking like filthy prons?Grimmie wrote:For just once I'd love to see a Mythological film actually follow the mythology. The Amazing Spoider-Man 2

Is it me or does the CGI look a bit ropey?

Dunno. Looks like it'll be a good yarn though.

Re: Movie Trailers
I think I'm at the end of my tether with these super hero movies, they've strung them out for long enough, all the silky effects don't make up for movies with more plot holes than a spider's web.
Re: Movie Trailers
I dunno, they might have more legs in them yet.
