Brum Bash VIII Event
Okay lads (and lady), what should we do for the Saturday night and Sunday foods?
Friday people are going to be arriving, nip to the local for a few pints and grab some cheeky pizzas.
Sunday's good to go for a sit-down meal (alas, the awesome buffet place closed down)
Everything would need to be pre-booked, so numbers now would be handy. Please say if you're mighty offended by any of the choices.
If you spot anything in or around Birmingham then let me know!
Saturday
Cocktail class
A really rather lovely cocktail bar in town is doing classes for groups for £25/head

Comedy clubs
Glee club has four comedians for £18.50 (or £5 for students)

Oh shit, I want to go to that cinema. Not that it would matter since I can't make it, but that still looks like a pretty great place.

Re: Brum Bash VIII Event
The deal on Peachy Keens is over now, but we could still go for about £14 a head
Re: Brum Bash VIII Event
'Ning!
I'm still going through the long an seemingly inefficient process of selling and buying a house. This could mean that a house move could fall on Grimbash weekend but I still can't be certain. These things are apparently decided on the pattern a bowl full of offal makes when thrown by some kind of hag. I'm still 95% it should be entirely doable though. Regardless, I'll keep you updated on the whole process.
My vote is to maybe catch a film on the EYEBLEEDMAX cinema-tron and then maybe head to Mint for a banquet?

I'm cool with anything really, I'm easily entertained.
I read that as BEEDLEMAX and wondered why one side of the screen should be taller than the other. My brain is broken today.

Out of all of them, I like the idea of CINEMAH followed by seeing a "comedian". But I'm also happy with booze + games :}

Movie and a curry then. It's like I'm taking you guys on a group date.
I'm going with em, you guys can pair up amongst yourselves.

Re: Brum Bash VIII Event
Kickass 2 is on at the huge enormous screen, anyone not want to see that?
Riddick might be on the IMAX screen, which is slightly smaller, but still big.

Nope, I'm all for Kickass 2. New Street is best station right?Grimmie wrote:Kickass 2 is on at the huge enormous screen, anyone not want to see that?

Yup, but New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill are all within 10 minutes walk of each other, and all in the city centre.

What time are you arriving Tandy? Depending on times, I may be able to accompany you to Fort Grim.

What time are you leaving Preston Tandy? I was just about to book tickets but will try and get on the same Booze Train as yourself.
