Sacrifice

Post by Joose »

Ive mentioned it in another thread somewhere, but I thought it deserves one of its own.

Sacrifice! Tis a slightly insane game, not because its overly hard or fast or anything, just cos its kinda odd. For one thing its an RTS that goes away from the C&C style top down conventions; you are an actual person legging it around the battlefield, the resources are handled in a pretty unique way, theres a bunch of different sides. But also its stylistically rather bonkers as well, with fellas on pogo-sticks, large leggy things that use their own rotting innards as a projectile, a spell that conjures a wailing wall of transparent heads, a unit that looks like a testicle with four spiders legs and a face. Crazy, and quite good.

What really surprises me is that although it defies convention at every turn, it all works rather well, too.

And as an added bonus, its rather old, so you can pick it up for small change, or sweep it from the floor with ease (wieghs in at aboutt 500meg, i believe).

You should all get it, and we should play it. A lot.
Go! Now!
