I feel a little isolated in that I've tried all four of those games, even own a couple, but I actually don't really like them.

I'm sure it's not me just being contrary because everyone else does, I've tried to enjoy them, but can't. They might have great stories, but I find their frustrating and repetitive gameplay a barrier to that - which only fuels my dislike - they tease me with enticing glimpses of a unique and interesting game world, but then I have to put up with their shit thoughout the entire journey.

I get this with a lot of games. Out of the bundle I have two (Psychonaughts, Stacking), enjoyed one (Psychonaughts) and had no real interest in the others.

The only one I got bored with was Costume Quest, as it was a bit limited, the joke wore thin. But I thought Stacking and Psychonauts were great, partly due the atmosphere and environments.

I only don't own Brutal Legend. It doesn't smack me as worth beating the average :/
