Re: BF4
Just in case anyone was curious, BF4 is going to have Commander Mode back, as well as US, Russia, and China as playable sides. Hopefully, the factions will be differentiated enough like BF2 was, as your play style had to adjust slightly unless you stuck with the unlock weapons.

Re: BF4
I doubt they're going to reduce the amount of DLC so I would expect to buy a Premium type pack to get the most out of it.buzzmong wrote:Okay, that's me slightly interested depending on details.
Still want to know just how much DLC it's going to have and what kind it'll be.
Re: BF4
The number of DLC packs will $. One released every $, including additional $s and further unlockable $s.buzzmong wrote:Still want to know just how much DLC it's going to have and what kind it'll be.
I'm still quite happy to play BF3 (with all the DLC) and I can't imagine BF4 being that different. I'll probably buy it, but not pre-order. That's a mugs game.

Re: BF4
All of the DLC and most of it pointless. It's the COD fighting cash cow of EA.buzzmong wrote:Okay, that's me slightly interested depending on details.

I remain unconvinced by the shitty flyer, I remain unconvinced that commander mode (if it is returning) will fix the shortcomings and most of all I remain unconvinced that bath will entertain me for more than a few weeks of playing. But I hope they prove me horribly wrong.

Even Close Quarters? I do enjoy it personally, it's like COD but in a better engine. Good for scratching that COD itch.deject wrote:I am probably alone in this, but absolutely loved every second of B33F. The DLC had some of the best maps in the game. I get that it is a lot of money, but for me it was worth the money.

Re: BF4
Yeah, that's how I felt. You can get the fast paced COD-style action but done better.spoodie wrote:Even Close Quarters? I do enjoy it personally, it's like COD but in a better engine. Aftermath added the Scavenger game mode, which is really interesting, and a bunch of really great maps.
Armored Kill added the awesome Tank Destroyers, QUAD BIKES!, and some truly huge maps.
End Game added in DIRT BIKES! as well as being able to airdrop an IFV on the map.

Re: BF4
I thought it was pretty good. I can't say I got my money's worth but that's because I played very little of it. So it's more to do with me than the content of the DLC.deject wrote:I am probably alone in this, but absolutely loved every second of B33F. The DLC had some of the best maps in the game. Re: BF4
I thought I'd put in my pre-order, as I'm still playing BF3 and BF4 will be just as good if not better, right?
£85 for the standard edition (+£10 for deluxe) plus premium membership (because I'm apparently EA's bitch now). Fuck that, I'll wait until I hear if it's worth it.
Has anyone gone for it yet?

Re: BF4
Are you using 32-bit Windows? The beta won't work on that by design but will on release. As far I know there should be no innate problem with dual core 64-bit.TezzRexx wrote:Will be avoiding for a while till it's fixed to play on Dual Core's (Beta doesn't work at all) and when the price jobs a little.
