A Busy Day

Post by friznit »

Busy day today but I've achieved a lot. So here goes:

The Womble Reaction horse I've built a load of Merlin Frigates for experimenting with that idea Dog Pants had I tweaked. They're in the process of getting a standard fit and are sitting in the corp hangar waiting for a trial. If it looks like a sound plan I'll make some other types of frig for messing about in.

Insta'd to Death I've tidied up all the instas. There are now two distinct routes down to KDF-GY, one starting at Doril and the other at Assah. Copies are in separate cans in the corp hangar, clearly labelled. The third can labelled 'Beyond KDF' has all the insta from ZXIC down to BX and FIX space. This includes the gate to gate instas that connect all the routes together in ZX and 2J, so don't overlook them. There are quite a few changes and they have all been checked for accuracy (I flew the lot this afternoon). I'd advise trashing your current bm's and making a fresh copy.

BX Cans Bomber and I went down to BX today and lifted the last two cans. The guns and remaining fuel are back in Berta to be sold off or shifted to the new pos loc once we get the go ahead.

Haulage There is a replacement Badger 2 in the corp ships hangar for Dog Pants. If you don't want it, I'll requisition it for the corp. I no longer fly my own cos they weren't very lucky. I build and fly corp badgers only. Seem to last longer. And has anyone ever seen a cargo expander BPO? Can't find one anywhere, just BPC's.

Lezzer Bitch My alt is a few hours away from a Medium barge and will be joining Silver in Berta to mine for his new bs. After that, I am mining for a cruiser for Bomber and another one for myself cos I want to take it into 0.0 and shoot up frigs with it.

That's all for now.

Fantastic stuff there Friz :likesitall:

As for the Badger 2, I've got one rigged up and ready to go in Berta but I'm going to be busy for the next four weeks so if anyone can make better use of it then please do so. Apologies for my lack of activity this week, I've been beavering away on scripts for RO and it's my first week back at work. It isn't an indication of things to come though, I'm still 5punkorp through and through :)

More instas added...just complete the route Elgoi to Berta and the factory next door cos I think we might be using this rather a lot. Off now to finish off the last few so the route between Assah and Bertah is insta'd. We'll be able to go alll the way from Elgoi to KDF-GY via the POS on instas then 8)

EDIT: All done. The can in the bm's hangar labelled "Elgoi <-> Assah" includes insta's to Hothomouh factory that Wiggy made. Now for some haulage!

Errors: Please try not to mess up the cans. The cans will always hold the latest and most up-to-date sets. If anyone makes any changes to any insta due to errors, make sure it is labelled with a * (asterisk) then let me have a copy. I will put a copy in the 'root' bookmarks hangar and update the can also. This way you should easily know which one you need to delete from your bm's folder. If in doubt, you can always check the date-time stamp on the insta!

As you know I was snooping around as a not-very-subtle shuttle alt last night. I checked out a few prices and systems in Amarr space (Tash Murkon) and an alternative route into Providence. This appears to be quite good and I will be making some instas for it later on today.

It is only about 3 or 4 jumps off our current route, is an alternative to the G-5 way out if that is camped, and a goes straight to a 0.6 system. The Tew system is only another 3 jumps or so and is seeded with all the POS parts, skills books and other such stuff. Prices are average.

I'm not suggesting we up sticks and move here, cos Berta is a good enough place as any and closer to our home turf (safe space move from Berta to Tew is about 35 jumps by the way). But it is a great alternative location to sell our mins / resupply the POS.

I also now have my large barge, Stealth Bomber, and IT V at the POS, so mining is go! (although I need crystals)

I'm on my way back to Berta so if people want stuff bringing (i.e. Mining barges and things what are painfully and slow assuming my hold isnt full of POS parts) give me a shout

I like the sound of random safe spots (and if we have several we can scatter if we get jumped)

You people clearly aren't working hard enough! In RL I mean. That's R-E-A-L L-I-F-E. Out there --> With birds and trees and...oh I give up.

Good work! Looks like we're finally getting somewhere. As I said, I'll do them instas tonight, haul my barge, Ferox and Blackbird remote support ship down and then think about going to get another Crane, if I can find one reasonably cheap.

Annoyingly I will be doing this at peak time again :x But I think we all understand where it went wrong now. I'll practice my elocution on TS too so I don't mumble the "OMG Gate Ca....aaaaaarrrrghhh" bit next time :P
