It's all relaxing!
I have booked flights from Brum because the prices keep going up. Train is a fair bit cheaper this time so it's not that much more than last time round.

Re: BELGIUM BASH II: the belgianing
Afraid I've dropped to a nope, two of the requirements haven't been met and won't be for the forseeable, and the third is deferred for a while in any case (UK tax laws mean I don't make the claim until after a stupid amount of time, but still have to keep the maximum possible amount payable in a safe place just in case they demand it all)
It's all a bit hand to mouth at the moment, but I really hope the situation improves this year. God dammit I need something to look forward to, so a future Belgiuming is high on my list should the opportunity present itself again. It's daft that Belgium is closer to Calais than Cov is to Dover, but more faff to get there.

I hear you FJ, but you should count yourself lucky or you might all be speaking German right now. (or French, or Italian, or...)
Anyway, sad to hear neither you or legoshoes can make it, but my door is always open even when it's not Belgium bash.

Re: BELGIUM BASH II: the belgianing
Can anyone that hasn't yet werded but is already certain of attending werd? It's because I'm going to make reservations for us soon and I need to give them an estimate of the amount of attendees, so if you're still not sure whether you can give me a werd or not don't worry, most places are pretty lenient about this.

Re: BELGIUM BASH II: the belgianing
It seems I have two mystery guests, so far I have:
-Grimmie
-Em
-Pete
-Shada
-Wiggy
-Tandino
Eight people werded, so who am I missing?
Also, I have Shada and Grim/Em's arrival details, could the others give me theirs so I know when and where to expect you? I assume Wiggy is driving in as usual so I don't really need his details.

I arrive same time as Grim and Em, Tandino arrives at the same time as Shada.

Also, an orange can pull you who voted from the poll bit in the admin gubbins.

Re: BELGIUM BASH II: the belgianing
Could a lovely admin tell me exactly that please? Because if someone voted faulty and I end up booking us too many taxis or something I might have a problem.

Re: BELGIUM BASH II: the belgianing
Presumably Berk/Shooz were your mystery werds, as you can't re-vote?
Re: BELGIUM BASH II: the belgianing
Any idea how? A quick google suggests you need a mod to log that.HereComesPete wrote:Also, an orange can pull you who voted from the poll bit in the admin gubbins.

Re: BELGIUM BASH II: the belgianing
I turned that option on, and I think Berk changed his vote as there were nine initially. It could just be faulty, offcourse.Grimmie wrote:Presumably Berk/Shooz were your mystery werds, as you can't re-vote?
