Dunno why, presume it's got something do with the notion of Olympus being the home of various deities in mythology, and the Prez certainly isn't a god or even godlike. Nor is the White House really anything special.

Codenames are supposed to be chosen so you cant determine what they refer to from just the name. Thats kind of the point, its supposed to be a code. Of course, that original point of codenames seems to have been lost years ago by the Secret Service, as they now regularly pick the most obvious of names (for example, the Pope is "Halo") and most of the codenames they use are public knowledge.

Interestingly, the actual real world codename for the White House is "Castle".

I suspect they chose Olympus because a) it sounds cooler and b) no one but Buzz gives a shit. From the looks of that trailer, the codename is going to be far from the silliest thing in the film.
