Movie Trailers

Re: Movie Trailers
I had a teacher in junior school that would read The Hobbit to his class each year. We had to draw pictures of the events and characters and compile them in a scrap-type book. Now that was some good schooling.
The trailer above makes me think that Bilbo should always know where his towel is and be forever be searching for a cup of tea. Not necessarily a bad thing.
And this is another trilogy. I hope that means each film will be a more sensible length.

Re: Movie Trailers
I thought that a bit odd at first, but watching the trailer there's a lot in there that wasn't in the book as told from Bilbo's perspective only.spoodie wrote:And this is another trilogy. I hope that means each film will be a more sensible length.

Re: Movie Trailers
Lone Ranger looks tedious, I've already seen too many Jerry Bruckheimer explosion films.
Sightseers (2012) - This is more my cup of tea.

Re: Movie Trailers
It's just basically a series of skits right? I'm really not sure how it's going to link together and be an actual movie.
Re: Movie Trailers
That's what I assume and it seems easy to be cynical about it. Let's be offensive with lots of famous people. But could be okay.buzzmong wrote:It's just basically a series of skits right?

It's a Jason Statham film - you now know everything you need to know without watching the trailer.
Jack Reacher

Tom Cruise playing a tough guy - you now know everything you need to know without watching the trailer.

Re: Movie Trailers
I've read a couple of the Reacher books, not sure how Tom midget Cruise fills the role of a 6' 5", 50" chest trained killer.

Re: Movie Trailers
The latter doesn't look too bad, I assume it's an action flavoured trailor because that's what trailors tend to be, so there is a chance it could be quite interesting outside of the action.
Or it could be gash.
The Statham one does look terrible though.

Re: Movie Trailers
More like Jack Reacharound amirite?
Re: Movie Trailers
I like the Reacher books, they're an entertaining easy ready. Tom Cruise does not fit that role, whatsoever.

War machine I think?
Anyway, looks a bit the same, but I have nothing against that.

Re: Movie Trailers
Iron Patriot. In the comics it was Norman Osborn with some stolen Starktech, but I'm guessing that in this it might be War Machine (didn't see him suited up in the trailer).buzzmong wrote:Who's that 'merkin flag coloured chap though?
