Has it really been February since we lost track on this?! Are we still doing it?

Haven't played some MC for a while and could do with a goal.

Curses, rebuilt my machine a few days back and now can't get on. Can someone remind me which Tekkit version the server is running?

Dank je wel!

The Technic Pack was updated recently, Yogscast are doing videos about it. Broken for me though.

I think we got a bit sidetracked by TECHNOLOGY. Maybe I ought'a just go back to iron pickaxes and making churches.

So yeah, I found the videos on Youtube and now I've got back into this again - seemingly as everyone else stopped playing it :)

I got a quarry and some other stuff, working on a macerator and then an oil refinery - aiming for a completely automatic mine by the end of it :ahoy:

Anyone else gonna come and keep me company? My mine is at -170 +520.

Anyone? :(

Just noticed this thread. Would like to point out, Mobslug plays this like constantly I even think he taught Wiggy a few things on his visit... If you want a job doing but can't necessarily be arsed. Message us and we'll set the 10 yr old to work. He's actually pretty fucking awesome at this game.

I've tried it periodically and it's not worked for me for about the last two months, is there a certain version I should be using? My last attempt found me in a new, empty world.

The recommended version worked for me, but I also ended up in the middle of nowhere. Presumably the player files had to be reset at some point. There are two unlabelled buildings nearby and I found Wiggy's hut. No idea where everything else is, assuming it's still there.

There is some stuff off to the south of the hut, IIRC. my mine is about 200m to the north- west.

I keep thinking I should get back into this again, any idea what client versions and so on need to be used?

Go and download the tekkit launcher. It will automatically patch to the newest version.

You might need to delete all the old files if you're trying to get the latest. I had some problems and deleting all the technicpack files, including those in %APPDATA%, fixed it.

it's possible/likely that the original map didn't get put back on after updating, multiplay's system is odd like that.

I have a copy of the Orhedge files from last time I generated a map anyway. I might finish it off in Creative mode one day.

I probably wouldn't mind starting again, would be kind of fun to have the mindfuck that was my machinery layout to plan again :)
