Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
I remember Crate Wars from back in the day. Everyones skin was replaced with crates, and the level was filled with crates. That was brilliant.

Didn't know there was a TF2 version, either way, it was much fun and we should play it :D

Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
This is the first update that has me somewhat interested since TF2 went Free-2-Play. Since it went F2P, it's just kinda gone to trading/crafting hell and I just can't be bothered. Co-op, however, is always interesting at some level.
Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
I've completely ignored the trading and barely bothered with the crafting. It's just old TF2 with loot drops (very) occasionally for me now.

Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
This. My only interaction with the trading side of things is to reflexively tell people to fuck off when they try to trade, and the only times ive ever done crafting was when I noticed I had a great many duplicate items. I would probably be more interested in the crafting if the interface wasnt balls-awfull.Dog Pants wrote:I've completely ignored the trading and barely bothered with the crafting. I'm one of those suckers that has actually bought keys in the past. I can't be bothered with the trading, I just like unlocking shiny things.

Ah, well, yes. I've done that too. It feels like the box is mocking me.Legoshoes wrote:I'm one of those suckers that has actually bought keys in the past. I can't be bothered with the trading, I just like unlocking shiny things.

I've a sizeable collection of crates, I intend to build a mountain out of them. Or at least, a small box hill.

Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
I really went off TF2 when it went overboard on hats and crafting, but since starting it up again this year and ignoring that side completely, I've been enjoying it more than ever.Dog Pants wrote:I've completely ignored the trading and barely bothered with the crafting. Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
I think I played the Quake mod once.
Coop could entice me to give it a go though.

Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
I have a crate, but they can go fuck themselves if they think I'm going to buy a key to open it.

Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
Are we doing some co-op'ing then? It's been (literally) years since I've fired up Teef, but if there's some online bumming to be had, I'm in. Just expect me to be even worse than usual.
Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op

Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
20 minutes or more to wait until a community server space appeared. Not worth it right now. The official servers cost money to join.
Re: Team Fortress 2: Co-op
Yeah I read that, and whilst I in no way want to pay I can see their reasoning and it is less than a quid. Ticket lasts until you complete a mission if you fail then the ticket is not consumed - a full group of six people getting to the final point and then dying over and over again wouldn't pay more than the one initial ticket, just saying, not saying that it SHOULD be done but that it probably can...
