London, England
Hello peoples,
just wondering whether any of you either live in London or know people who do...
Cause in August I'm biking through England with a friend and we wanted to make a
London stop and find a place to crash there!?

I would imagine he's aiming at a more ephemeral aspect of 'lived', though I could of course be wrong. Conversely you could say you haven't lived until you've lived in London (or a.n other large city).
I think most South East 5punkers have reached that point where they've moved quite a way out of London and commute in.

Indeed, I live thirty or forty miles out of London and avoid venturing there. It's okay once I'm there, but getting in is a nightmare. I commute away from London.
Re: London, England
I lived in London for a year and then moved out. Enjoyed it. Had enough of it.

Her Maj E. Windsor will put you up, so long as Phil isn't having one of his funny turns again.

I'm considering invinting myself into your home instead : DDog Pants wrote:Indeed, I live thirty or forty miles out of London and avoid venturing there. It's okay once I'm there, but getting in is a nightmare. I commute away from London.
Moreover, considering all that, you guys have some place better to suggest?

Re: London, England
I would suggest avoiding London because of the olympics. It will be mad busy, stuff will cost even more and you'll probably end up homeless owning a dog on a string.
