Hmm, I wonder if I'm also biased. But I'm not going to worry too much.

Last season of Chuck started a few weeks ago. Pretty good so far, but also kind of glad it's coming to an end - didn't want it to overstay its welcome and become dull (I'm looking at you, Burn Notice).

Did anyone watch 15 Million Merits, or the Entire History of You?

I thought they were fantastic and far superior to the first episode!

I've seen 15 Million Merits, not the latest one yet. It's close but I still think the first was the best.

Last two episodes of Castle have been brilliant. I was worried it might start to trail off this season, but it's been very good throughout.

Last night's episode of Community was legendarily funny for me, as a huge fan of Law & Order. They nailed it so freaking good. It probably won't be as funny for you guys unless you've seen/liked Law & Order UK (which was OK and hits a lot of the same notes as the main US one).

I've not really watched Law and Order, but the bits I have seen, the characters seem to be easily parodied and lack depth - they appear have this sort of rigid world-view about what is *right*, but I don't know if that pervades across all its incarnations.

Law & Order at its core is about the investigation and prosecution of crimes, the characters themselves are not the primary focus. They did try to do more character drama later on in the show's run, especially after Jerry Orbach died.

Dan Harmon has not had his contract renewed for Community. Not sure how they plan to carry on without him :?

Hmm. The start to season 3 took a bit of a dip, but it improved week on week and the finale had me laughing more than anything else on TV in a long time. It's really shitty the way they've dropped him from his own creation.

In other news it was also the season finale to The Mentalist, and I think I've given up on it now. 4 seasons and still the main plot line remains unresolved (Red John). Those are have become the only decent episodes in it, and everything else not linked is just copy/pasted filler. It needs to change but I just don't see that happening - they'll string out the Red John plot forever just to keep people watching.
