Having stuff on their servers can only be a good thing for multiplayer, if it runs as smooth as WoW (which let's face it is standard for Blizzard) you won't tell the difference and you certainly won't have the connection issues associated with hosting or finding a dedicated server. How they work it for single player will be up to them, but I certainly won't judge them on the beta performance which is probably online so they can test server loads etc.

Yeah, in hindsight, sometimes they're keeping quiet, but now and then they just ignoring people. Ho hum.

I shall keep faith in that they listened to the community throughout SCI's whole development, and the entire beta process of SCII (which lasted ages).

I don't understand what it means but this cinematic is pretty great. So good I had to watch it twice.

Blizz always did do great cinematics. I do wonder if reports of how good the game is will convince me to buy it. At the moment I'm not that interested, but this has got me thinking Diablo again.

I've always enjoyed the Diablo games, as has the mrs, so I'm definitely getting it. As for the trailer, I've no idea what's going on either. But then, I've only ever been peripherally aware of there being a story in Diablo. Something about demons? Hell, I guess? I dunno.

I've never played a Diablo game. Are they similar to Titan Quest?

Aaannnddd.. It's delayed. For good reason, apparently.
Beta testers say that Blizzard over-bloated the game with unnecessary changes that detract from what makes Diablo a Diablo game.

What I don't know is if that's beta testers talking, or diablo fanboys talking, wanting a direct remake of D2?

I would think Blizzard are wiser than to listen to fanboys, but then some of the decisions they've made for D3 strike me as unwise too, so who knows?

Reading their actual blog post, almost all the changes seem sensible. Good times.

I really can't make up my mind about this. I'll wait and see what popular opinion is.

I kinda wish I didn't spend my money on the ME3 collectors edition so I could get the fancy edition of this. I really only want the USB stick though, I've got enough crap cluttering up everything as it is.

I think I've lost interest in it now. I don't really like ARPGs, but was going give it a go just cos Blizzard, but meh.

Be warned: £44.99 on Battle.net vs £32.97 on Amazon.

I've had this on pre-order since 24/08/2008. Typically it's pre-order at game for £24.46, I bet the fuckers fold and I don't even get a copy.

Administration tomorrow by all accounts - the bank renegotiated their terms, but no one will supply them.
