I wasn't too bothered but now I've looked at the artwork I want a STALKER 2. Hopefully the IP will be picked up by another party.

Depending on how developed the game was, if near completion, I could see another publisher picking it up. Would be stupid not to.

Ish. Would be a huge shame to never see it, but it likely wouldn't have the same weird slavic thing going on. The weird depressive thing that mirrors the fatalistic and depressive mind state of classic Russian authors like Dostoyevsky. That thing that means they drink lots of vodka and like eating each other.

This is good news. I have recently completed STALKER SoC and it turned in to one of my Top 10 Games. I think I will start CoP tonight to celebrate.

This is good news. I thought they were working on a title called
Survarium but this is a studio called Vostok (who I think are in some way related to GSC). I've dicked about in the beta of Survarium a little and it could be quite the 5punky title. Basically multi player STALKER. Feels like a mature UT I guess.
