Shame I've spent the day at home with grandparents, sneeking away when I can to the lovely computer.....ahhh, it gives me all the love I need.

Oh yes I forgot to mention, I had to sit in the living room and listen to Enya's new album at the in-laws on Boxing Day.

I had a giggling fit, and everyone was wondering what the fuck I was laughing at. I started to try and explain why listening to Enya was so funny, but then gave up otherwise I think the in-laws may have thought their daughter married a lunatic.

Oh yeah, it was pretty shit, but you probably guessed that already.

My Dad bought my Sister an MP3 player and put loads of random music on it, as my Sister bemusedly informed me. Enya was the first one she mentioned, prompting a similar (failed) attempt at explaining why Enya's so funny.

Er.. right..

I got:
- A new mini torch- LED based, because the MAG Solitares I've had so far are shite.
- Small camera tripod (about 9", extends to about 5ft)
- wallet!
- Smellies
- JAFFA CAKES!
- "Thud!" - Terry Pratchett's latest.
- A lovely all-purpose DIY kit thing with sharp knives and any screwdriver head you can think of.

...and nothing computery, which makes me the happiest person alive.

Ok

The first seven Discworld books
The two Bunny Suicide books
Some chocolate liqueurs
Some stinky cheese
Some beer-flavoured bath gel
A magic cheese knife for soft cheeses
Some flavoured cooking oil
A cookery book
The 2006 "Rainbow" calendar
Little Britain Series 2 DVD
A picture of my 9 month old nephew, which he graciously sent me himself

I have some money (my own) which was going to buy (myself) an XBox360, but I don't actually want one until they make some decent games for it, so probably something else electronicy (but not computery).

I will try not to spend it until I go to Currys/Comet tomorrow. Yesterday I bought some half-price chocolates, a packet of peperami, some brie, some coconut ice cream, some beer and a haggis. From Saturday I shall become a hermit for a week, so am stocking up on essential provisions.
