Flight Sims?

Post by deject »

Does anyone know of a recent flight sim? I don't want to feel like I bought a joystick just on the off chance that I get to fly a jet in BF2...

It's not new but the best flight sim imo has got to be IL2 Sturmovik, great fun in Multiplayer too. ;)

I tried MS Century of Flight with some scenery addons which gives the game some very detailed 3D buildings (for a flight sim). Impressive but very boring IMO

PFFFFFT!!!

I think we had that game...

I've heard of Il-2 Sturmovik and I can get it for like $5 so I might pick that up.

I have a standing joke with a mate. Whenever we get really really bored, we challenge each other to install Falcon 4 with all the 3rd party mods. Apparently it's a good flight sim, if you like spending 2 hours doing pre-take off checks before getting blown out of the sky in 10 seconds my a pixel travelling at Mach 1.
