Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
Good news everyone!
I've found a nice little tip:
1) Create a new (or use the old) shortcut to BF3.exe.
2) In the normal shortcut box, append "-something" sans quotes. Yes, -anythingyouwant will work.
What this does is trick BF3 into thinking it's been presented with arguments and has the result of only going and loading the fucking Main Menu for singleplayer which includes...the options menu!
Been nice to know that before the game was released.
Edit: Also, make sure you play a round Today and/or Tommorrow as you get automatic entry into the sweepstake:

I'll take the second place prize, ta.The Grand Prize is a round-trip visit to DICE in Stockholm, Sweden for one player and three of their squadmates for three nights. Included in the visit is a tour of the state-of-the-art studio and an introduction to the development team behind the award-winning game. The second prize is $5,000 USD in cash

Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
's not, just a bit quicker as you don't have to load Battlelog to play Campaign or alter settings.WereRabbit wrote:I confus. How is that different to launching the campaign from Battlelog?

See if there's newer firmware/BIOS available for your card, that sorted my problems. Changing the driver didn't help me at all.Mr. Johnson wrote:God damn it, my screen keeps going completely black randomly and it has green lines flickering across my screen. Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
Nice to see your server bursting full of goodness, some good players on there as it goes - even now, although not full there was still some tight games on there. Fingers crossed a few people remember the name and come back to it.
Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
It did fill up briefly, but the map changed and about 9 people left. Map cycle needs some work still, but at least we're getting decent numbers in now.

Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
Auto balance possibly a bit broken.
Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
I think it only kicks in between rounds.

Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
Along with autobalance, is there a team scramble function? That could be quite handy.
Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
Is anyone else having troubles loading the game up? I cant get on any severs or even the SP campaign.
Re: 5punkyBEEF Server
I don't know of an option for that.buzzmong wrote:Along with autobalance, is there a team scramble function? That could be quite handy.
I couldn't get on any servers last night, just kept freezing on "joining server...".Pnut wrote:Is anyone else having troubles loading the game up? I cant get on any severs or even the SP campaign.

I had that last night
Killing windows defender seemed to help, as did closing daemon tools.
