I'm confused. I'm convinced I had this on pre-order from somewhere, but I can't find it now

It's actually really puzzling. I could have sword I'd given Play or Amazon a pre-order. I remember checking the price the other day and being smug that I would be getting it for the early price of £27.99. Now I don't see it in either of my open/processed order histories. Bit annoying.

Edit
Ah, it's out of chronological order, it's put the dispatched notice back to when I pre-ordered the damn thing in August.
It got sent out yesterday, hooray!

I ordered Skyrim for someone else and Amazon haven't dispatched it yet. They were late with BF3 too. Weird as I've ordered most games from them in the past and received them on release day or before even with free delivery.

Me no like change.

Also,

I had an email about a month before BF3 saying I'd better change my order to first class if I want to get it on release day. You may have one of those somewhere. Understandable really.

It's semi-bollocks though. I heard via a previous collegue of mine who had links with a sorting office that having 1st or 2nd stamps/franking made bugger all difference because of the way they're sorted for location and transported. The only things that do get sorted by First/Second are the parcels that are bigger than letterboxes and are handled differently, and the only difference then is 1st get priority when loaded on to the van if they're short on room.

Seems like we have a different understanding of the word 'soon', since It's been like that all day. Guess I can forget about my Monday arrival then.

That may be true, but Amazon are not the post office, and semi-bollocks is still semi-truth.

I only said semi-bollocks because I've no experience with the Post office and collecting a massive amount of post. If it's anything like what the RM do for collecting it from small-mid size business then the company that sends it (Amazon) won't sort it and it'll all go out mixed up.

Still, I've had to package mine up and will be posting my copy of Skyrim back :( Probably won't get a replacement till the end of next week. So no Skyrim for me this weekend.
