Any chance or refugee status with ISS and a helping hand from ISSN and ISSL? Or are they not interested cos it's a corp fuck up?

OK. If we have to pull out, then I really do hope we can go peacefully and not being shot at byt SA. Second, moving as far as N-8Bz6 looks fine at least as an interim. It's in Providence which is neutral terrority, but it's close to empire and near to a pipe (Assah route into Catch). However, ISS do have NAPs with all bordering corps (FIX/SA kinda keeping themselves busy with each other anyway). Third, Tetra are a small corp (15 members) and probably gonna be fairly wilko, I hope.

What effect do we need to achieve short term? Main Effort now is creating ISK in order to provide a financial buffer to uphold future corp ops. So what? Mine alot and set the conditions to allow transport of minerals back to empire markets. I have taken the liberty of securing ASSAH -> KDF instas from ISSN. I just have to get to Marginis to pick em up from escrow.

Point to note: an Alliance mail from PAX that was clearly intended for corp only with ref to their moving out of BX mentioned corp cooperation b/w PAX and RES, but with no mention of 5punkorp. Not sure of the significance of this narf. But either way, if we do have to move, all haulers are going to have to be on hand for a 5cehduled move out.

Im summary: moving t'aint the end of the world. We barely got anything in there anyway. But we need to make some ISK sooner rather than later, of only to pay of our debts (to a very patient non-corp friend at least).

I just borrowed the Condor in the corp hangar and ran down to Marginis and back. Nice easy run. Upshot is I now have a set of instas for the ASSAH <-> KDF-GY route through Providence which is a little longer than the Dorril route, but safer. Was gonna put a copy in the Berta hangar but it's all a bit insta'd out at the mo and getting rather slow to open. Can we all confirm we have a copy of those in there including the between gate SS so we can ditch em now? I'll then put the new ones in.

I don't have the between gate instas because I haven't been able to get back since this SA thing. I'm going to have a crack at it this morning, but if I don't make it don't worry about it. I can always grab them at a later date, and we're not likely to be staying here much longer anyway.

Well, I can attest first hand to this Stain situation being a bit.... hairy. I made a dash to ISS Marginis and arrived in my pod courtesy of an SA gate camp. Luckily I only lost my indy and was only carrying a few shuttles.

The local conversation went something like:

Dog Pants: Oh poo
Dog Pants: Enjoy my shuttles gents :)

Whereupon the gank squad set about my disgorged cargo while I made good my escape. At least they didn't come after my pod, and I even got a smile off the chap who laid the final blow as I jumped out of system.

Meanwhile, some encouraging signs from the Eve-O forums:
Count,

There has been a failure on all fronts with communications between our two alliances. I will endeavour to have this resolved as soon as possible.

The delegates for SA as point of contacts are Gloria Khan, Orc A and myself (http://www.sa-eve.com/smf/index.php?topic=459.0). Let's arrange an via in game methods a discussion time to resolve these problems.

I look forward to bonding healthier relations with the Interstellar Starbase Syndicate.

Regards,
Sceartan

Let me just express my utmost frustration at having just refuelled the POS and set up some of the guns again. This just in from the Count:
SA:
The SA top diplomats have expressed their desire to normalize our relations once more.

We will have to take down the starbases we have in solar system B-XJX4. PLease do so as soon as possible.

Meanwhile I encourage ISS to stay clear of SA whenever possible. If its not possible, defend yourselves as per the ISS Charter.

..bla bla bla.

And I was having a damn nice christmas. thanks fr nothing ISS...

As for the POS, well, it doesn't say SA have stoped shoting, so we really do need to get it moved outa there. I'll be on tommorow to see what I can achieve as far as moving it, and if we can get SA to give us a temporary sease fire.

As of this afternoon the POS still has 2 days left in it however, if at all possible I feel we should move it out tomorrow (Boxing day). I know some of us are down there, and if necessary I will keep hauling till it's all gone. However, we could really use some more haulers and some giant secure cans.

At the mo we have at the POS:

Me in my hauler (6800m3)
1 Secure can (full of 2 med guns and ammo)
Wiggy in an Inty (scout)
Fea in his big muther (protection)
There is also a couple of ships in the hangar, including a shuttle though I just found out if they are packaged you can't get em out :x

I propose a 5chedulage for tomorrow night sometime but wanted to check here before I go ahead. Anyone up for it?

I assume that the clearance of B-XJX4 is part of a diplomatic solution, of course it is a shame that we lose out over a situation that we had no direct involvement in, but then that is a side affect of being part of a larger whole.

On the other hand, The count's comment; "Meanwhile I encourage ISS to stay clear of SA whenever possible. If its not possible, defend yourselves as per the ISS Charter." is bloody worrying. If there is a diplomatic solution, why have the standings not been reset? It's hard enough on us (5punkorp) to be asked to remove our shiny new POS as part of a compromise over a situation we had no hand in creating. It's bloody ridiculous to ask us to do it under fire, especially when SA will know that we are moving .... (fill in the gaps in toughts of a few greedy SA pilots) :x :x :shakefist:

I certainly hope that there is a personal mail waiting for Fea or Silver to explain this situation and offer ISS support in the removal and some sort of compensation for our corp losses (including new pants for the moving team, 'specially our embattled Raven pilot! )

I will try to be available tonight. Mrs Bomber has  ed her eyes, which usually means she's not :) but will let me go nevertheless. I do suggest, though, that we get some feedback from ISS through Fea / Silver before moving. I would be very surprised (nay pissed off) if they have not made an attempt to contact our CEO. :? :x :x

I have resisted posting on the ISS forum website (where news of this STILL hasn't been posted in the Catch forum) as it would be unhelpful, I think. :ignore: :x :x :ignore: :faint:

I really like the way the Count finishes his evemail; "Merryr X-Mas all"

Same to you, bucko

Just checked the fuel state. As of 1900 we have exactly 1 day's worth of Hydro Iso's left and a little over one day of Enriched Uranium. We either refuel or move out tonight. I prefer the latter option. I just need an escort or scout at the very least. Almost tempted to go solo, but that would be...less than sensible.

Please see 5chedulage. I'm good to go anytime from 2200 onwards.

And now the POS is in lots of little bits at a SS in B-X. I took it all down and parked out it out the way before it died on us. I managed to get everything except 600m3 of heavy water which I just couldn't squeeze into my cargo hold. Thanks to Hehulk and bomber for your help and Fea cos I nicked your badger to use it as a storage can :)

Now we just need to move it to a new system (somewhere in Providence maybe?) and start mining like a bastard so we can pay for next month's ISS fees and some more fuel (we are very low on Hydro Isos). I reckon we got about 6 standard badger loads (that's with no cargo mods).

I would really like to do this in as few runs as possible. The rest, I'm afraid, is up to the boss man

Nice work there Friz. I've been away since Christmas Eve and it all seems to have got a little frantic since I was away, so sorry I wasn't here to lend a hand. Good news is I've got weeks off work now so I can devote plenty of (day) time to helping sort this mess out. Assuming I can keep my ship in one piece.
