I'm happy to sort it out, either method. As long as it doesn't involve me using PayPal.

That's always a good thing, but what would be the preferred alternative?

Haha, absolutely. I don't mind people paying into my bank account and I'll pay it from there. Assuming people trust me not to bog off down the pub with it. I don't know how we'd do a pool account, but I'm open to suggestions.

The other option is bank transfers or cheques isn't it?

Cheques can suck a dick - I can't wait till they're done away with.

If I make a payment into Pants' bank account, I'm totally giving it the reference 'LADYBOY MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION'.

Bank transfer isn't a problem for me, but as usual I will need your IBAN number (can sometimes be found on your transcripts, your bank's website or by phoning your bank. It's on something somewhere) because of different countries but luckily still the same continent, and you might have to wait a few extra days for it to arrive because of the same different countries excuse.
I probably still have your bank details somewhere from when you send me STALKER, but that was ages ago so you'd best PM it to me again.

I'll start poking people with the details once we finalise things, I've not started setting anything up yet. I'd like confirmation from everyone that the price is okay too (or something to say how much you can pay if £14 is a bit out of reach) so I don't end up with a massive bill. We've a month before release, so there's no rush.

Okies, I've started editing the list of names as confirmed. Naturally being 5punkers it's a bit ambiguous, so I've tried not to be too presumptuous. Poke me, post here, or whatever, and I'll either confirm you or take you off the list. Once we're happy with everyone involved I'll get the server sorted and collect monies.

Add me to the list, I'm more than happy to give money for something I'm going to use a lot.

Works out to about $24 for me. As long as I have fair warning to budget it out I can swing that.

Are we planning on organising the money prior to release, so the server can be made available on release day, or wait until after release? I'm just concerned that if it sucks, which it probably won't, I don't want to pay for server of a bad game. Perhaps we'll get reviews prior, that should be enough to see either way.

:above: This. I think we need to play the maps, figure what is fun and draws the best crowds and make sure it's not some kind of donkey cock of a game. I think it's unlikely it'll suck but a small window to make sure would in my mind be best.

I'm happy with that if it's the concensus. I'm also happy to pre-order the server, confident as I am from the beta. It does make sense though to not gamble on it, even if it is good odds.

I'll chip in some dough, if it means we can kick Berk on a bi-weekly basis as vengeance from when he ran servers

Options are:

1) Order it now. I'm not too flush this month but once everyone else's monies are in it should only have cost me £17 in theory.
2) Order it just before release. My bank will be happier then (because work will have paid me the money I'm short this month).
3) Wait until after launch in case it's a pig.

Really it's (1+2) or 3 I suppose. Are any of those options going to cause anyone to go "no way, I'm not paying"? Otherwise, do we have a strong preference towards either? Speak now or I'll either forget or get drunk and do it on a whim.
