Used PC pricing

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Used PC pricing

Post by Thompy »

I need to update my GPU for which I want to spend £100-150, but I figured I could get a new 2nd gen Core system with an SDD for about £200 if I can get £400 for my old system. Which is:

i7 920
Asus p6t deluxe v2
HD 4850
500GB HDD
Cheapo DVD drive
Akasa Eclipse 62 case
6GB cheapo RAM
600W OCZ PSU

Bought for ~£800 2 years ago, worth ~£550 new today.

Is asking £400 too much? Also, any of you bummers want it?

Looks a pretty decent spec for a passable gaming rig (about on par with mine I'd say). I wouldn't call £400 unreasonable.

Seems a reasonable price.
