There's no response other than Ingress alerting you to more incoming drones.

Maybe it's not from the guy in town, maybe it's the unknown enemy? Either way I think we might need some cover. Let's head to the nearest cover.

Sorry!

Seeing as how Joose doesn't come here I will autopilot Ingress. A few seconds into you starting to run up the slope the toy announces that once again it has been successful in rendering the drones inactive. Some distant thumps indicate that some drones were flying quite high when their controls and engines cut out.

Peace is restored to the valley.

Hokey dokey.

The storm is really closing in now, the wind driven before the front is warmer than you expected, but still freezing and filled with powdery snow.

Amongst the trees and rocky outcrops of the scree slope it's not too bad, the occasional dash over the open stretches has the weaker ones amongst you struggling to stay on your feet with the gusts.

Jaspers spirit is still patiently marking the way but being driven higher by the weather, soon it'll struggle to dominate the mind of the bird as instinct tells the raptor to cut and run.

Ingress5's drone swarm are suffering somewhat from the building EMI, but being shielded helps. Your electronic equipment is suffering rather more, there's vast amounts of electricity in the thick purple grey clouds.

Jasper can sense a tang of magic about it too, but if it's a malign horse or just a few flighty air spirits enjoying a cruise in the cloud front you're not sure.

As you hit the crest of the valley side he wind becomes far more noticeable for Smith and Jasper, Pants and Roman, strength test please.

With Alvrin out front the group need to climb over the ridge that marks the lip of the scree slope and get on to the path proper. Deject, perception test please.
