Let's hop in the Batmobile and head over there then.

Diddly-diddly-doo!

Assuming we're heading to the Gauss station first, let's see if the Cube boys are there yet.

The gauss station has an APC outside and a couple of typically bored looking Shivers at the entrance. There's a few people giving them hassle, trying to get in to catch a train despite the Shivers' half hearted assurances that there's no trains running.

I'll give Cube Face chap a call to see where he is.

Suggest Deej takes point?

Right, let's do this.

Yeah, you pick up the tracks of Cube Face immediately. Looks like there's three humans and a Wraith. They lead off down the tunnel. There's no sign of any activity ahead.

Do we want to fast forward a few hours until Langley/Mina/the Karma stooges get here?

Unless the carriens are going to be something unique, I'd rather not waste the ammo if I can avoid it.

Good point - we could do with the footage.

Okay then. It takes another hour and a half, but eventually Langley turns up in a newly dirtied van bearing the Slaughterhouse Six logo. He grins and waves, then ditches Mina Breton and her cameraman before gunning off, veering around the rubble in the streets. The Karma stooge Ops arrived a little while back and are securing the factory. Breton and her cameraman are wearing Blocker - she still looks good in hers, his flak buffer gut section seems to be under pressure. Both, by their SCL cards, appear to be Ops.

Mina makes a beeline for Dirk, while Pete preps his Ronker Roller minicam.

She grins and hefts and ornate Blitzer in one hand, a microphone hanging from the other.

Dirk wrote:Why Ms. Breton, you are looking divine today. Those TV cameras do you no justice you know. We may not need guns after all - I'm sure the Carrien are just as likely to swoon.

Do you need me to do a piece to camera or anything? I'll give you a brief overview of what's going on anyway.

We have discovered that DarkNight have been feeding the drug Shatter to Carrien. It has made them even more dangerous. Earlier today a group of drugged up Carrien smashed into a Karma facility in Downtown and attempted to poison the supply chain. We stopped them, but some escaped. Now they are messing with the Gauss trains and bringing transport here to a halt.

This will be their final stop.
If I had sunglasses I would put them on.

What sort of area are we in? Are we in tunnels or is it out in the open?

Deej is going up front but I'll do a Detect roll anyway

9,7,+8 = 24

It's a tunnel. In Lower Downtown they tend to be relatively small (large enough for two trains) and featureless in order to discourage things taking up residence in them.
