If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

VPNs

Post by FatherJack »

Anyone have any experience of using a US-based VPN to watch hulu, etc? Any good/free ones?

I like to be able to configure it through my (dual WAN gigabit VPN firewall) router, but most of them seem to function via a software install on your PC, the router needs some extra info, like a Pre-Shared Key and I can't seem to find this info on the free VPN sites pages.

I've used a few to circumvent sub only demo's on failpanet but they were wank. I think Berk has a fairly good one for hulu use but it's possible he pays.

I've used vyprvpn in the past (from giganews)

worked fine, but I didn't find hulu that good.

Vizanime have a decent catalogue of fansubs I was after which they use hulu for. I'm guessing they know about most of the anonymisers and block them, though.
