Outcasts is getting better, I think. The first episode was a bit of a dull setting-the-scene thing. Now we're getting to know more about the new planet and why they left Earth. Spooky goings on.

It's making me fear Lost/Prisonbreak/Heroes right now.

Ver interesting to see a computer go against a couple of meatbags.

No. I did watch a little program about the computer they've made up, but considering they've stated they're going to do the same thing they did with the Deep Blue computer (use it, dissassemble it, hide everything about it and refuse all access to it), then I've got no interest at all.

At least it's shorter, but it does seem to be getting sillier.

This week's Mentalist was good - quite a revelatory episode.

I have been forgetting to watch 'How TV Ruined Your Life'. Just caught episode 4, 'Love' which was very good - particularly liked the pseudo news report on the office romance.

It was good, prob the best one so far, apart from a few repetitive bits and when he does the "point and laugh" thing it's a good series. Is it only on every other week?

Brooker also does bits on C4's 10 O'Clock live in a political vein, some (of his) bits are ok, bit hit and miss. The rest of the show feels a bit amateurish and rushed, kind of like the teen-made political show he was lambasting in the 'Lifecycle' episode of HTVRYL. Unlike the BBC, who want to flog you DVDs, most of the eps are still available.

Anyone watching Boardwalk Empire? I've got the first season, but may need a bit or persuading to start watching it.

I watched 5 or 6 episodes or it, lost interest.

Got bored of outcasts too.

So have the BBC, it's now relegated to quite late on Sunday nights. I'm sort of enjoying it still.

I too watched 5 or 6 episodes of Boardwalk Empire, but I've not watched it since.

It's not bad as such, but there's not enough to it to keep my interest. Comparisons with the Sopranos are sadly exaggerated.

 Spotted a 'Keep calm and carry on' book in Chuck this week.

Also Castle was indeed awesome - great writing and acting.

Also, also How I Met Your Mother is one of the funniest things on TV.

About damn time too, season 5 was pretty much garbage.
