Strictly by the rules Ebb stuff goes first, but takes effect the phase after it was initiated. So effectively it goes last. However, that's a bit shit for combat stuff, so for the sake of Blast from a Flintlock it acts like normal ranged combat. If I haven't written that into the house rules I probably ought to, as there's a few Ebb bits I use that are non-standard. However, at the moment all my creative flow is going into the BearbashBPN.
Looks like I missed TSD's post there. The chainaxe hacks a chunk out of the Low-Wave's knee. The damage it has taken should have crippled it long ago, but it manages to lash out one last time before Dirk's blast knocks it off its feet. It thrashes, then twitches, then lies still. Between the two huge, dead Stormers and the pile of mutilated Downtowners, it looks like a slaughterhouse.

Well, first things first I'm going to do a Detect roll to see if there is anything at all either lurking around or looking shiny:
3,10,+8 = 21
I'll also do another Forensics on this Low-Wave, just in case it turns up anything:
4,2,+6 = 12
Probably not.
And now for a call to Mr. D

Edit: to find where the food has been infected I reckon we sample product from each stage of the line to see where it first pops up - and by sample I don't mean eat.Dirk wrote:Mr. Daniels - all Low Waves in the facility are down. Unfortunately we couldn't take any live specimens, but at least they're no longer wrecking the people or the equipment.
I've had a bit of a poke in the bodies but not found much. I'll ping all the information over to you.
We're going to do a full sweep of the facility now to see if there are any hostiles left, and to see if can find out where the Shatter has been introduced to the production line.
A quick scout of the facility reveals no further Low-Waves. A forensics roll doesn't turn up a lot, but the injuries they received look like they should have been fatal even to a Stormer way before they fell over. You reckon it was blood loss that eventually finished them.
Daniels wrote:Good work. We can live without a few worker drones, but not with the bad publicity. Keep on finding out how the hell this stuff got into the food. If you find hostiles in the way of DarkNight then that would be great. Film it.
