On the off chance that anyone other than me is still playing this:
What exactly is the point of the IGB interest? its set at 0.03, whilest the planets are set at 0.05. So you get far more money dumping your money on a planet than you do in the IGB. So other than getting loans, what in hell is the point of it?

Vowles, just so you know, your FAQ is wrong. the bit where it talks about how combat is computer isnt right. Im not sure entirelly in what way yet, but I suspect where it says about half of whatever getting destroyed, it should actually say "as many as is possible". IE: If you are using 500 whatever and they are defending with 500, you will both end up with 0, not 250. If you see what I mean.
At least, thats what i think is happening. I shall investigate further.

Actually yeah;
As a sideline (because I can't be arsed colonising), I've been sort of simulating bounty hunting. I've been scanning and seeing who's been through my sector and then tried to follow them. The aim being to (theoretically) kill and claim the bounty on the guy at the end. Of course there are no bounties at the moment so I haven't been killing anyone, but I haven't actually found anyone anyway.
Am I doing something wrong? Is it because they're cloaked at the other end? Would you write a little guide for doing this, or give me a bit more info so I can? It just seems like quite a fun thing to do.
I'm not sure how it works exactly but it might be worth elaborating on.
