I am ginormous cheese fan. My dad, like me, is a huge fan of cheese, so for his Christmas pressie we went to the cheese Mecca of the North: here.
We came back with a selection of cheeses that were quite frankly incredible. Come next payday there will be a cheese order placed.
My current favourites are Gouda cheeses and chilli cheeses.

I thought it was Edam-based and not as pokey as the chilli cheddar most supermarkets do. They do a bite-sized version of that cheddar which I enjoyed, but have only found them in two Asdas I've visited, neither of which were in Coventry. I like Marmite cheddar rather a lot, which is similarly packaged.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:Have a look for some red hot dutch, it's both of those things.
I had lovely cheddar a while back that was in a black wax, which I got from Tesco in Banbury, but they seem to have stopped doing it. The closest I've found in taste is the Parkham Farm cheddar in the green packets, which in addition seems to last ages improving slightly over time.
